Evaluation For Video

My media product does not break the 180 degree rule in any way which uses the form of convention of this rule in other media products. This is used so when the shot cuts from one to another the camera sees the people in the shot on the same angle each time to stop confusion by the audience making it look like the people have changed positions.

It also uses the form and convention of real media products as it follows the match on action rule. I have acheived this by making each shot when cut, look like one continuous scene.

My media product is also made for teenage viewing but on the other hand the terminology used suggests an alternative look on teenages as some is quite advanced like the word "approximatley" is used where as usual teenagers use simple, short words and dialouge.

The type of media institution most likely to use and distribute my media product would be BBC2 as this particular programme distributes many documntaries and the most out of the terresrial channels. This would be appropriate for my media product as it has a documentary/interview theme to it.

The simple and plain terminology and setting to the video suggests the target audience should be of a younger age so that it is easier for them to understand. Because I stuck to the 180 degree rule and match on action it mant it wouldn't become complicated for younger people to undertand the positioning and angles of the characters and objects involved in the framing.

I used Adobe Premier Pro 2 to edit my video and make necessary changes to it which I found made aot of difference from the start and the end peice created from the use of the preogramme. I think this because it enbaled me to make the video look like one continuous scene and being able to keep my audience's attention on the video. We also named each clip to organise each one so it enabled us to not miss use any of our clips in the wrong places and overall saving us time.
